Major General Dr. Amr Madkour, Advisor to the Minister of Supply and Internal Trade for Information Systems and Digital Transformation, held a meeting at the General Court of Luxor Governorate, in order to follow up on the implementation of the electronic substitution system for supply commodities.

He met with a number of supply switches and representatives of my association project in the governorate to explain the details of the system and to identify any obstacles to work on solving them

This comes within the framework of completing the digital transformation projects implemented by the Ministry of Supply in various fields and its affiliated entities, especially the mechanization of the supply system trading system in all its various episodes, in integration with the project of automating all wholesale branches and consumer complexes, which is being implemented by the Holding Company for Food Industries, a project that attracts great interest to the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade

Madkour indicated that this meeting comes within the framework of the efforts made by the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade to digital transformation in order to facilitate citizens and obtain their rights from commodity support and deliver support to those who deserve it.

The advisor to the Minister of Supply for Information Systems explained that the electronic replacement system has been implemented since May 2020 in Luxor Governorate, as the first governorate at the level of the Republic to automate all transactions related to the system of disbursing food commodities, starting from purchase requests for exchangers and my association until the disbursement of food commodities to citizens. Supply and internal trade, and the directives of Counselor Mostafa inspired the Governor of Luxor for the quality of catering services provided to citizens

For his part, Dr. Tamer Salah indicated that the supply and bread system is witnessing great stability in the governorate under the directives of His Excellency the Minister, and with the continuous follow-up by His Excellency the Governor. He expressed his great happiness that Luxor Governorate is one of the first governorates in which this system is implemented.
